Inventory Specialist

The Role

  • Provide functional application and reporting support to business teams, maintain inventory system parameters and deploy process expertise to achieve desired outcomes & troubleshoot issues
  • Project Contributor for Inventory ways of working & future proofing, engaging stakeholders across multiple streams to deliver business value and system integration
  • Development, Documentation and Training programs for Inventory users in the Demand, Fulfilment and KAT system, educating in both logic and business process requirements.

About You

Skills/Knowledge/Abilities/Technology Used:

  • Demonstratable knowledge of inventory management strategies, forecasting, replenishment and distribution methods in a retail environment. End-user experience in BlueYonder’s Demand & Fulfilment software is an advantage.
  • Strong business analysis and facilitation skills, able to unpack the roadblocks our stakeholders face and work across teams to define & implement solutions.
  • Customer Focus – You keep the customer at the forefront of every decision we make, working to improve the way we deliver for our stakeholders in the relentless pursuit of better availability.
  • Technology used includes knowledge of JDA Demand & Fulfilment, JDA Allocations (KAT), Mainframe, Confluence, Atlasssian
  • Ability to translate business requirements into effective Problem Statements for project prioritisation across multiple business units
  • You have clear, demonstrable communication skills, writing communication for our stakeholders as well as speaking in person to large groups, town hall forums and remote collaboration sessions.

Work Experience:

  • 3+ years’ experience in Inventory / Supply Chain / Merchandise Planning / Technology or equivalent
  • Demonstratable collaboration and engagement experience across multiple business streams
  • Project experience as a contributor, lead or manager in Inventory, Technology, Supply Chain or Merchandise business areas

Preferred Formal Education/Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualification preferred (commerce, business or retail related).

Mandatory Formal Education/Qualifications

  • Sound knowledge of Inventory Management
  • Sound knowledge of Outlook and Excel
