What are we looking for?

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Technology Developer  reporting into the Personalisation Product Owner who is responsible for understanding the online customer and their changing consumer needs and behaviours. As the Marketing Technology Developer you will be responsible in creating personalised experiences for Kmart shoppers across 1:1, onsite and media channels. Increase the level of customer satisfaction and thus profitability of Kmart shoppers. Configure and build personalised experiences within Kmart's marketing technology ecosystem.

To be successful in securing this role, you will ideally possess the following skills and experience;

  • Passionate about discovering the best ways to use martech / adtech technologies to enhance customer experiences.
  • Ability to design and build data-driven marketing campaigns and personalised experiences across a modern marketing/ad tech stack
  • Experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics, tag management platforms such as Google Tag Manager, CDPs and DMPs such as Tealium or Adobe Audience Manager,onsite testing tools such as Optimizely or Adobe Target amd marketing automation platforms such as Responsys, Adobe Campaign or Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Proficient in HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
  • Experience with data processing tools (e.g. BigQuery, SQL)
  • Experience in cross-product integration to create omni-channel experiences
  • Proven understanding of software development best practices and design patterns.
  • 2-3 years experience in a front-end or MarTech developmemt role.

 

About You

As the Marketing technology Developer you will responsible in Creating technical designs for how personalisation use cases will be built based on a customer journey and functional design. Build and configure MarTech platforms (predominantly Responsys, Optimizely) as required to deliver the experiences defined in the solution design. Conduct testing to ensure the experiences are working as expected
Where required, help to integrate platforms within the MarTech stack. Help the squad generate new personalisation ideas by enabling them to understand what is possible and best practices for building personalised experiences

 

Key responsibilities of this role are outlined as follows:

  • Uplifting the knowledge and understanding of the squad about MarTech
  • Coordinating with different squad members and various moving parts to build experiences
  • Managing volume of work
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Good time management and expectation management skills.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and organise effectively.
  • Ability to work on multiple, simultaneous projects of all sizes and complexity across multiple platforms.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to carry out personalisation campaigns.
  • Strong attention to detail.
