What are we looking for?

An experienced marketing professional to work within the toys and nursery portfolio on a fixed term contract to Feb 2022, managing all facets of the associated marketing campaigns from end to end. Your connection to toys in your working career will make it easier for you to engage with key stakeholders across the organisation, write briefs to in turn work with agency partners and internal stakeholders to produce campaigns that will delight our customers and incite business growth.

Other responsibilities may include:

  • Translating customer and business insights into effective campaigns
  • Mix of strategic and general operational tasks to fulfill projects
  • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders on a regular basis
  • Aligning campaigns with agreed brand strategies and compliance
  • Measuring marketing project success

About You

You’ll love the idea of having real ownership of Kmart Toys and Nursery campaigns. Bringing your many years of end to end marketing campaign experience to the team, you’ll thrive in a fast paced environment, leveraging the Kmart brand strength and captive audience to help you to grow the toys and nursery category. From strategic planning using customers insights and data analysis to executing the little tasks that bring it all together, you’ll enjoy this hands-on environment.

You will bring to the team:

  • Proven experience and degree qualifications in marketing/communications
  • An energetic approach to problem solving and campaign execution – on time and to budget
  • Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Confidence to pitch, refine, and challenge 
  • A strategic approach to managing competing priorities in a fast paced environment
