What we’re looking for?

Reporting in to the Business Partner -Lean Transformation, we are currently seeking two experienced Process Improvement Process Specialists to partner with our stores to improve processes and embed One Simple Way of Working. In this role it is essential to have a lean and change management skillset and as the Process Improvement Process Specialist you will be accountable for the development of process improvements to our in-store processes. The role may involve some interstate travel.

To be successful in this role you will ideally possess experience in leading and managing change .Providing organisational related support or service (administrative or clerical) OR roles operating in a “hands on” environment in support of daily business activities (e.g., technical, production or craft levels). The majority of time is spent in the delivery of support services or activities, typically under supervision. Other key traits required for this role as a Continuous Improvement Process Specialists is outlined below:

  • Drives and ensures that sustainable, relevant and best practice solutions to business problems are explored, assessed and delivered.
    Approaches are well thought out and analytical in breaking down complex
    problems, particularly the origins of root cause and alignment to ultimate desired
    business outcomes.
    Produces solutions that can be implemented in the Kmart environment

About You

To be successful in securing this role, you will have extensive experience in a retail operations/stores environment and organisational change. You will also possess the following;

  • 3-5 years
  • Change Management Expertise or experience
  • Continuous Improvement Capability (Lean, Kaizen, 6 Sigma)
  • Business Analysis

    balancing with a deep knowledge of the business
  • Productivity and delivery of continuous improvement initiatives-Net promoter score of stores
