What we’re looking for?

We are looking for a Store Design Projects Coordinator who is ambitious and energetic to join our dynamic team at the Kmart group. The primary function in this role is to develop and maintain the Store Design delivery programme and will ensure projects are delivered on time and to budget. Your role will also include tracking and management of regular team meetings, individual progress conversations and online programme tracking will be the delivery method (‘Monday.com’ online software).

This role will also incorporate managing graphics, signage and equipment prototyping and delivery for trial stores and Store Design initiatives. Supplier briefing, quantities and specification communication; along with regular internal stakeholder, and supplier engagement will be critical in delivery including a high level of attention to detail is required. General Store Design administration assisting in management of team budgets and general administration tasks.

This is a 12 month FTC.

You will be responsible for the following;

  • Proactively update and communicate of the programme to all stakeholders for effective end user implementation.
  • Manage the workload programme using “Monday.com”
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure programme adherence in design development and delivery.
  • Assist or work with appropriate team to manage graphics, signage and equipment prototyping and delivery for trail stores and Store Design initiatives.
  • Programme Design and Standards requests into the workload schedule. Automate using Monday.com where possible.

About You

To be successful in securing this role, you will ideally possess the following skills and experience;

  • Minimum 3 years retail, marketing studio or industry related experience.
  • Proven administration skills and proven communication and interpersonal skills is essential.
  • Experience working with a design environment will well regarded.
  • Tertiary in related discipline highly regarded (business admin. project management, marketing & communication).
  • Intermediate/advanced level MS Office applications and similar online document creation software. (excel essential)
  • Results focused and has good attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of design process and stakeholder engagement.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment.
