What we’re looking for?

An opportunity for a Lead Experience Designer to join Kmart and lead the design and delivery of Kmart’s store of the future has arisen for an initial 12 mth fixed term contract.  Reporting initially to the GM – New Formats, this role will see you responsible for creating innovative solutions to improve the store experience for customers through the use of new technologies as well as integrating the customer journey across both stores and online.  These innovative solutions will be developed through fast experimentation; from ideas to prototypes, testing and analysis.  This role, will be the champion of the customer – identifying and defining the customer requirements and representing these to the development team

About You

To meet the challenges of this role, you will ideally possess the following skills and experience;

  • Practised in omni channel experience design – creating connected customer experiences across online and offline channels
  • Experience in human-centred design with ability to showcase examples of how you have designed customer facing solutions to be intuitive and easy to use;
  • Previous experience developing solutions using fast experimentation, data and insights and defining minimum viable products;
  • Ability to drive analysis and insight to support solutions;
  • A seasoned influencer, with well-developed communication skills.
