What we’re looking for?

Reporting in to the Digital Customer Experience Manager, the role of Online Optimisation & Personalization Specialist is critical in ensuring that Kmart’s online customers are enjoying an increased personalised experience when navigating through Kmart’s e-commerce site. Commencing in a greenfield role for a 12-month fixed term contract (including entitlements), other key responsibilities in this role will include;

  • Optimise the customer experiences for Kmart online shoppers using AB testing
  • Personalise the Kmart online experience to increase the level of customer satisfaction and sales conversion
  • Coach others in the online team to run experiments and Personalization campaigns
  • Lead prioritisation workshops to gather ideas for new experiments and potential Personalization use cases
  • Carry out analysis of the key buying funnels to identify areas of the customer experience to optimise
  • Work with Marketing to align with offsite customer experiences as well as work with design, research and development to create tests to run on our live site
  • Undertake analysis and report on findings and manage usage of tool quotas to maximise ROI

About You

To be successful in securing this role, you will have the enthusiasm and drive to contribute to building Kmart online into one of Australia’s leading online shopping experiences. You will ideally possess the following skills and experience;

  • Advance degree in in analytics, computer science, mathematics, innovation or similar
  • Prior experience in a similar role (preferably for an e-commerce retailer)
  • Experience of setting up and running AB tests using tools such as Optimizely or Adobe Target
  • Significant knowledge of experimentation, AB testing and Personalization.
  • Experience of marrying qual and quant research
  • Strong statistical analytics skills combined with a good understanding of Agile, Lean, Design Thinking
  • Ability to carry out Personalization campaigns
  • Ability to work on multiple, simultaneous projects of all sizes and complexity across multiple platforms
  • Strong documentation, communication and prototyping skills
  • Experience of working with researchers to marry the what and why of customer activity during experiments
