What we’re looking for?

Our Technology team is seeking a Cyber Security Risk Analyst for a permanent position with solid experience to undertake activities in identifying, evaluating and reporting on information technology risks in Kmart's IT environment.

Reporting to the Kmart Cyber Security Team Leader, you will have sound technical experience and knowledge with the tools and methodologies required to assess and mitigate risk in a distributed environment. You will also have experience in providing input into technical designs to satisfy business requirements.  You will possess strong, relevant technical experience as well as knowledge of a broad range of standards and frameworks such as PCI-DSS, ISO/IEC 27000 family, ISO/IEC 31000 family, ASD 37 and NIST-CSF.

About You

You will ideally possess a solid understanding of a large client and server environment covering laptops, PCs, peripherals, POS, hand-held and servers. This role will provide the right applicant with opportunities to expand their skills into other areas. Your knowledge of information security risk practices and demonstrated awareness in applicable IT change and problem management processes will be critical for your success.

Demonstrated technical knowledge of the following:

  • Firewall (traditional, NG), antivirus & malware analysis, encryption technologies, remote access technologies (VPN, SSL, IPSEC), IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanning, email and web content filtering
  • Securing cloud services, securing mobile and tablet technologies

Highly desirable:

  • A solid understanding of network, hardware, operational software and applications as they relate to security policies, industry trends and business needs
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. CISSP, CISA, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC) and experience as an IT auditor would be highly regarded
