The Role

An opportunity now exists in our Footscray store to join the team as a Store Inventory Manager.

As Store Inventory Manager you will be responsible for the following;

  • implementing and managing tasks to ensure stock integrity, adequate stock flow process cost efficiencies.
  • managing the receiving, receipting and processing of all store merchandise
  • forecasting, planning and prioritising the daily workload and resource requirements of your team
  • ensuring merchandise is sorted and replenished across the relevant store departments whilst overseeing the reserve stock process
  • maintaining a daily/weekly focus on minimising shrinkage losses
  • adherence to LEAN process principles as undertaken by Kmart

About you

The ideal candidate should have a solid background in 'big box' retail management combined with previous leadership experience in an inventory management and/or a store room/DC environment. Naturally motivated, you will inspire your team to deliver excellent results in an efficient and safe manner. Enthusiastic and reliable, your ability to work flexible hours and across different locations will be the key to your success.
