Reporting in to the Marketing Manager, Living, the role of Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for the implementation of the digital components of marketing campaigns as well as the delivery of innovative digital marketing projects and initiatives. Other key responsibilities in this role include the following;

  • End-to-end digital media strategy support for all marketing campaigns
  • Day-to-day management of digital media buying, planning and strategy with media agency and internal stakeholders
  • Management of timelines for campaign asset production, media bookings with digital media agency and internal channels
  • Post-campaign reporting and analysis
  • Ability to take on ad hoc digital marketing projects
  • Day-to-day management of Kmart’s Facebook, Instagram & YouTube platforms

To meet the challenges of this role, you will ideally possess the following skills and experience;

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business/Marketing or similar combined with additional qualifications that demonstrate deeper understanding of managing content on digital platforms
  • Experience buying, planning, delivering and reporting on digital media campaigns
  • Ability to work to tight timelines and processes with autonomy
  • Understanding of digital channels, metrics and the digital media ecosystem/landscape
  • Experience working in complex, fast pace environments with multiple internal and external stakeholders
  • Digital media experience in an agency or client side in planning and/or buying
  • Digital Channel Understanding – solid experience across digital channels - programmatic media, OTV, display media, Instagram, Facebook and Google
