We have a unique 14 month maternity leave contract opportunity for a Photo Centre Department Coordinator to join the Photo Centre Management Buying team. Reporting to the Buyer you will be the key contact and have overall responsibility for the operation of the Kmart Photo Centre department.  We are leading the way with in-store experiences so it’s an exciting time to join the business.  Our team has a great culture – we’re open & honest, friendly and approachable and we reward and recognise great work often.

 The ideal candidate should have a previous retail office experience, exceptional customer service and exposure to Photo Centre technology or the Printing industry is a bonus. You will have strong communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills as you will be required to liaise with all Kmart stores and a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. You are also a self-starter bursting with innovative ideas and solutions.  

To be successful in this role, you will have the following:

  • Strong analysis, problem solving and decision making skills (as you will need to make decisions on a daily basis);
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Inventory control/management;
  • Project Management skills and experience;
  • Manage equipment and software upgrade schedules and rollouts;
  • Weekly reporting and analysis of departments’ performance and identify opportunities to maximise sales
