We currently have an opportunity within our Inventory Management team for a Demand Planning Manager to lead a team of talented Demand Planners to drive improvements in sales forecast accuracy.  Working closely with the Merchandise team, this role is responsible for ensuring the following;

  • Leading and coaching the demand planning team
  • Managing the team’s priorities and ensuring the team work to agreed targets;
  • Maintaining demand forecasts for the business to agreed forecast accuracy targets
  • Working closely with the merchandise teams to ensure demand forecasts reflect business planning and strategy
  • Building and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders across the Online, Merchandise and Inventory teams

To be successful in securing this role, you will ideally possess the following skills and experience;

  • Experience with JDA Demand would be beneficial however not mandatory;
  • Demonstrable experience leading a demand planning function;
  • Strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail (formal skills in analytics/statistics etc will be viewed favourably)
  • Understanding of Inventory Management within a retail environment
  • Problem investigation and resolution skills
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills in cross-functional environments
  • Highly self-motivated with an ability to work well autonomously
  • Prior experience in a high volume or on-line retail environment
