Reporting in to the Head of Organisational Capability, this role will focus on building Kmart’s proficiency in online learning design and implementation to enable learning to keep pace with business needs.  In addition, this role will be responsible for setting the roadmap for digital learning.  Summary of the key responsibilities of this role outlined as follows;

  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to develop digital and online learning solutions that have measurable performance improvement outcomes
  • Recommend and implement rapid design and development solutions and relevant technologies to support low cost learning solutions in a continually changing environment.
  • Recommend and develop evaluation and reporting processes for learning
  • Provide thought leadership on digital learning, authoring tools and the latest research in this field
  • Develop and implement digital learning frameworks, guidelines and governance processes.
  • Work closely with the LMS Manager to develop, schedule, test and launch new learning through the LMS
  • Recommend learning technology to support current and future project requirements.

To meet the challenges of this role, you will ideally possess the following skills and experience;

  • Extensive experience in an L&D technical or equivalent role, ideally within a large, commercial environment (those that have worked across both corporate and operational learning will be considered highly favourable)
  • Developed and implemented a digital learning roadmap or strategy that improved business performance and created a great user experience
  • Demonstrated understanding of digital learning tools and technologies and their application in a range of complex environments
  • Development of engaging & compelling learning solutions with demonstrated performance improvement outcomes
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to find creative solutions to problems and enjoys working in a fast-paced, low cost, high performance environment
  • Expertise in a range of authoring tools, LMS platforms and learning curation and proficient in Instructional Design methodologies
  • Confident in negotiating project briefs, outcomes and deliverables to timeframes and scope
