As a high volume retailer, we move millions of cartons of stock every year and our Distribution Centres (DCs) are crucial to the safe and timely delivery of this stock to our stores across Australia and New Zealand.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for DC Forkhoist Team Members to work with the daily operations of our Christchurch DC team to safely deliver and maximise productivity, quality, the team performance and process improvement.

Reporting to the DC Team Managers you will be responsible for ensuring the site is safe for everyone, every day by implementing and evaluating safe work practices, adhering to OH&S requirements, improving safety performance, action identified hazards and investigating incidents.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Unloading containers
  • Operating a forklift
  • Picking orders
  • Dispatching goods
  • Quality Control
  • Sorting & preparing goods for dispatch to stores

The following are essential:

  • Reach hoist licence 5+ years, + counterbalance licence (Hoist licence codes required - SDR-RR, DRCOCB)
  • Proven track record in a similar role
  • Availability to work am/pm shifts across a 7 days roster
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience working with RF systems

It would also be an advantage for applicants to have:

  • Experience with counter balance with long fork operation 
  • Slip sheet experience
  • First Aid qualifications

To be considered for this position you will be experienced with a proven work history in a Supply Chain, Logistics, Transport Warehousing or Retail, coupled with a sound knowledge of supply chain operations and systems.
