As we enter our new growth phase, to help deliver our plans and vision we are currently looking for an experienced Retail Operations Manager for Kmart to deliver on the following;
- Provide an exceptional in store customer experience through strong leadership of service across the store to drive sales and profit growth – responsible for the operation of service counters for refund/returns/repairs, laybys, entertainment sales and Image Centre, as well as ensuring exceptional customer service through customer greeting, bag checking, overrides, EAS tag removal and hangar collection, rainchecks, customer orders, pickups and organising customer deliveries.
- Lead quality management of store administrative processes & systems across office and service teams such as managing the invoicing process, cash management and conducting cash register error investigations etc.
- Accountable for leading, coaching and developing team members.
- Forecast, plan and prioritise daily work & resource requirements.
The ideal candidate should have a solid background in retail management and exceptional customer service. You will be a high achiever with a passion that will motivate and inspire your team, along with the ability to manage those above and below you. Enthusiastic and reliable, your ability to work flexible hours and at different locations will be the key to your success.

Ideally you will also have experience working in a Big Box retail environment or as an Area/Regional manager for a smaller retail chain of stores. Preference will be for those candidates that are able to demonstrate strong administration experience and operational effectiveness.
