We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to take on a challenging role within our professional and fast paced Finance Team. This role will see you take accountability for the preparation and co-ordination of financial accounting processes to produce monthly, half yearly and yearly financial results. Your role will also focus on the review and analysis of financial statements to ensure the integrity of the general ledger.

With a focus on compliance you will ensure all accounting policies, procedures and relevant legislative requirements are adhered to. You will also be able to process and handle the most current accounting standards as required. In addition, your role will encompass identifying risks and opportunities for the business in a timely manner to enable mitigation and relevant action.

To meet the challenges of this role you will have; 

  • Either CA/CPA qualified or working towards qualifications
  • Previous experience in a retail or FMCG business would be highly desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor a small team
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret numbers
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Ideally used SAP and TM1 previously

Working with different departments within the business is a requirement of this role so strong communication skills will be essential.
