We now have available an exceptional opportunity for a talented finished artist who can work collaboratively with our studio production team to produce Kmart’s print based advertising art work meeting all deadlines and specifications. This opportunity is to cover a maternity leave replacement commencing in early December 2017 so would ideally be available to commence late November for a suitable handover period for a fixed term of 12-months.
A multifaceted role, you will be at the desired skill level to step right into the business and ensure all contouring, colour matching and retouching of images is communicated to relevant people for action.
Working closely with the Marketing team you will have the opportunity to produce advertising artwork including catalogue, Point of Sale and press ads from brief/mock-ups through to final print ready files.
To meet the requirements of this role you will ideally possess the following skills and experience;
- Exposure to graphic art advertising, preferably within an agency or art studio environment
- Advanced knowledge of graphics and publishing software including Adobe InDesign, working knowledge of MAC, Adobe Photoshop and MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of the current Quick Cut software system would be an advantage as well as exposure to Link Optimiser software
- Those candidates with prior experience working with or within a retail marketing team would be considered highly favourable
