As we enter our new growth phase, to help deliver our plans and vision we have created a new position, Visual Designer. Reporting to the Innovation Program Manager - this role will see you providing Creative Direction on complex design programs that involve multiple stakeholders, suppliers and creative teams.
To be successful in this role you will have the following:
· To impact stores and customers with innovative initiatives which positions Kmart as a global leader in customer experience and store operations
· Ability to tell the story of how to get from a complex business challenge to a strategic solution through compelling visual narratives; be it print, digital or video.
· Solid knowledge in Graphic Design, Branding or Advertising
· Experience in the creative industry for 5-8 years
· Experience in innovation projects, using human centred design methodologies
· High level experience in digital and mobile projects
You will need to have an excellent understanding of the craft of visual communication through strong art direction, solid graphic design and a passion for typography.
Previous work should showcase strong conceptual ideas together with the ability to communicate the strategies that has driven some of the work created. Your ability to present work in front of other teams will be of a high standard.
This role will bring excitement in working in a multi-disciplinary environment alongside Business Designers, Ethnographic Research, Qualitative research, Operations and Technology.
