As we enter our new growth phase, to help deliver our plans and vision we have created a new position, HR Business Partner – Support. Reporting to the GM of HR and part of the HR Leadership Team, this role, which will be based at our National Office in Mulgrave, will see you supporting multiple functions some of which include Finance, IT, Marketing and HR.

Through partnering with your client groups and relevant parts of the business you will be proactively working together to create a high performance culture that delivers long term value creation for the functions and supports our vision. As the trusted advisor you will work closely with our leaders to realise the full potential of our people, drive our strategic people plan and deliver people initiatives that will make a real difference to our teams, culture and business.

Your key areas of focus will include Talent Management, Performance Management, Culture, Change Management, Organisational Capability and Employee & Industrial Relations. You will deliver HR procedures and initiatives, drive talent management processes, identify future functional capability needs, build succession plans, deploy capability programs, coach for performance and manage people-related change.

As a HR professional who naturally develops a strong interest in the functions you are supporting and by partnering with your stakeholders you will come to understand the levers required to get the best outcomes for your client groups, drive performance and always be looking for ways to add value and deliver fit for purpose solutions.

You’re an agile communicator with a strong ability to build trust, credibility and effective relationships quickly, whilst your exceptional influencing skills, strong track record with change management and experience with talent management will allow you to successfully deliver our strategic and operational HR objectives and initiatives. As an independent thinker, you take initiative and not only define the problem but find the solution. 

As you will have full accountability for the end to end process you need to be one who loves rolling up your sleeves and can easily flex from leading strategic conversations to completing the required administration. Team work is a must so you will be an engaging collaborator who values input from others so we can grow together and realise our vision.

Your solid HR experience will have been gained in a corporate environment supporting multiple client groups with your expertise extending across various areas of HR. Your passion for the way in which HR management can significantly impact a business for the better will be evident.
