One of the key factors for Kmart's success is the effectiveness of our local distribution network and the improved efficiencies developed within our Distribution Centres (DCs). As a high volume retailer, we move millions of cartons of stock every year and the DCs are crucial to the safe and timely delivery of stock to our Kmart stores within Australia and New Zealand.
The role as Team Manager will be a diverse role which includes but is not limited to:
•People management (leading a team)
•Commercial reviews, planning and financials
•Health and safety and scheduling
•Problem solving and continuous improvement
You will have strong values and are keen to learn and progress. You will have a strong customer focus, excellent communication skills and strong time management. You enjoy an analytical approach and like to make well informed decisions. Degree or qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, People Management or Business will be a highly desirable and an advantage in this role. Experience with financial processes and operations is highly regarded.
Never thought of working within logistics before? That’s ok-we are looking for people with financial skills to add to our Management dynamic ability. You will need to be flexible with your schedule as working hours will be between 6:30am and 11:45pm. Due to the hours, it would be desirable for you to have your own transport.
